Newsletter 2- 7 hacks

Are you struggling to grow your business, get clients, and stand out from the competition on LinkedIn?

Do you feel like your LinkedIn profile is invisible?

If so, you're not alone.

In fact, most people I talk to in 2024 are struggling to get their content seen and engaged with on the platform.

And it's even worse if you have a small following.

But in this newsletter, I'm going to share 7 powerful strategies that helped me grow my LinkedIn audience by 2003% and generate $3.2 million in revenue.

So if you implement even just a few of these, you could see explosive growth in your reach and client base.

I'll share

  1. The 7 easy hacks you need in 20242.
  2. Why these hacks work so well, even if you have a small following
  3. Simple step-by-step instructions on how to implement them today

Here's what happened when I started using these hacks.

Hack #1: Leverage the LinkedIn Algorithm

Unlike YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram where content can go viral and spread rapidly, LinkedIn actively discourages "viral" posts.

Instead, the algorithm prioritizes showing content to your existing network.

This means that one of the worst things you can do as a new user is just post your own content.

Instead, you should focus on commenting on posts from big influencers and niche experts in your target market.

Here's how it works: Let's say an influencer has 500,000 followers and another person has 100,000 followers.

When they post, a significant portion of their combined 600,000 followers will see and engage with that content.

By leaving thoughtful, valuable comments on those posts, you can tap into that huge built-in audience.Even if just 20% of those 600,000 people see your comment, that's 12,000 potential new connections for you.

Hack #2: Optimize Your Positioning Statement

There are two key elements of your LinkedIn profile that are visible everywhere on the platform - your positioning statement (or headline) and your profile photo.

Most people make the mistake of just listing their job title or what they do.

But that doesn't help your target audience understand how you can help them.

Instead, craft a 3-4 word statement that follows this formula:"I help [market] to [solve problem]"

And in 2024, you'll want to add an element of authority at the beginning, like "15-year leadership coach" or "Award-winning consultant".

Hack #3: Use Psychographics, Not Demographics

This strategy is inspired by how Airbnb grew so quickly in its early days.

Rather than just targeting people based on demographic data, they focused on psychographic behaviours.

For LinkedIn, that means using tools like Taplio and Sociogrow to identify people who are showing behaviours that suggest they could be your ideal clients.

This could be based on the topics they're discussing, the events they're attending, or the content they're engaging with.

Hack #4: Use Proven Content Templates

If you're struggling to create content that positions you as an expert, stop wasting time and use proven templates instead.

These work much better than just trying to wing it.I've used the same templates on my own profile, and if you look closely, you'll probably spot the patterns.

But the important thing is that they're effective at driving engagement and authority.

Hack #5: Repurpose Your Content

Don't make the mistake of creating a bunch of new content from scratch every time.

Leverage the content you've already created by repurposing and republishing it.

You can wait 3-6 weeks and repost the same update, making minor tweaks each time.

This allows you to get more mileage out of your best-performing content.

Hack #6: Take Advantage of LinkedIn Live

LinkedIn Live is a powerful yet underutilized feature.

The algorithm gives Live videos a big boost in the feed, which means you can quickly get in front of thousands of people.

I've built a thriving community on LinkedIn just by going Live 2-3 times per week.

The same people show up consistently, which leads to better engagement and more opportunities.

Hack #7: Collect Emails, Not Just Followers

One of the biggest mistakes LinkedIn users make is focusing solely on growing their follower count.

A big audience doesn't automatically translate to revenue if those people aren't the right fit for your products and services.

Instead, make it a priority to collect email addresses from your LinkedIn connections.

This allows you to nurture those leads off the platform and convert them into paying clients.

It's a much more effective strategy than just trying to sell to your LinkedIn audience directly.

Implement these 7 hacks, and you'll be well on your way to exponential growth on LinkedIn.

Let me know how it goes and have an AMAZING day.
