The 15 Minute ‘CEO Call’

Yesterday a ‘Business Coach’ pitched me on LinkedIn and invited me to a ‘Strategy Session’

(Basically An hour long sales call), we all know that, right?

They were super insistent and promised it would be ‘’the most valuable time I’d ever spent on my business’’ and that they were sure they could ‘’help me”

I’m calling BS right now

***deep sigh of pity***

this person is not gonna grow, they aren’t gonna book qualified meetings.

It’s basic basic stoneage sales, not gonna cut in on LinkedIn

Here’s the thing,

They knew NOTHING about my biz, hadn’t bothered to build a relationship and it was obvious from their contrived messaging and they were just gonna try and close me.

Probably with some 80’s style ‘high scarcity’ closing.

Sure, the website was nicely branded and they had some great testimonials, and to be honest, I was on the fence about saying ‘’yes’……..for a few seconds

Shhhhh don’t tell anyone……sometimes these cheap tactics work for a few secs

But, In the end, like 99% of her market, I DID NOT

Here’s why, don’t know about you, but as a CEO running a growing business, my time is VERY valuable
